Welcome to the refreshed online home of Sigma Memphis. It is my privilege, on behalf of our brotherhood, to extend an invitation to explore our site and stay connected as we serve the Memphis Metropolitan region. Enhancing communication and increasing visibility have been key goals of this administration, and I am encouraged by the opportunities we now have to reconnect with brothers and build new partnerships throughout the city.

This year marks 112 years of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service—a milestone that reflects our enduring legacy and commitment to excellence. We look forward to presenting a full calendar of events and service initiatives that demonstrate the meaningful work Phi Beta Sigma continues to lead in Memphis. Join us as we press forward with purpose and carry the cause of Sigma ever onward.

Tau Iota Sigma Chapter Programs

Our Fraternity was founded on three main principles - Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service - and we pride ourselves on our commitment to these principles each day.

EDUCATION

The Education program developed from the Fraternity’s traditional emphasis on education academic achievement as an ingredient for success. During the 1945 Conclave in St. Louis, Missouri, the Fraternity engaged in a restructuring of its programming, leading to the birth of Education as an International program. The program focuses on providing a variety of services to alumni and collegiate members of the Fraternity, which in turn translates to services to local communities. In-house programs include providing scholarships, conferences, college fairs, mentoring and tutoring at local, regional and national levels.
